I used Uncle Dan's once, and the payment process was mostly okay. The site had the little lock icon and the checkout page looked normal enough, so it wasn’t like I was panicking or anything.

That said, the first payment attempt failed and then, very helpfully, it made me type in my card details all over again. The security check also wasn’t exactly crystal clear, but sure, I guess we’re just supposed to figure these things out.

I did get my payment confirmation after a few minutes, so at least it worked in the end. Overall, not terrible, but it definitely could feel a bit smoother and more reassuring without making the customer do extra little chores.
